Taxis are available at the airport and cost around ¤45. Scheduled buses also run every 30 minutes to and from Alicante central bus station. Most visitors here walk along the seafront promenade, or along the Avenida del Mediterraneo, one block inland, which follows the gentle curve of the bay. Bus or car is the best way to explore further afield. Driving directions: From the airport, take the A7 in the direction of Valencia, and take the Benidorm exit.
